Congratulations!
NephGen Associate Member Pascal Schlosser was awarded with a DFG-funded Emmy Noether Group.
Proteins fulfill a variety of biological functions in the human body. If these functions are disrupted, diseases can develop. Using a novel approach that combines machine learning and network analysis, Dr. Pascal Schlosser, statistician at the Institute of Genetic Epidemiology at Uniklinik, is investigating the complex relationships between molecular characteristics, in particular proteins, and diseases. The project is being funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) for six years with 2.3 million euros as part of the Emmy Noether Program for early career researchers.
