NephGen offers various gender equality and family friendly measures. According to the demand of the female researchers we established a program covering individual coaching, mentoring, family support, as well as different seminars and courses. In addition, NephGen appointed Dr. Miriam Schmidts as Gender Equality Officer specifically for the CRC. She will support the young female scientists with questions concerning funding possibilities and grant applications, and will be assisted by the CRC 1453 office concerning questions about child care and additional issues.
